How citree.org handles your data when you visit this site or write to us.
What we collect on the website
- No cookies. citree.org does not set first-party cookies and does not use cookie-based tracking.
- No personal identifiers. We use Plausible analytics to count page views in aggregate. Plausible is EU-hosted, does not use cookies, and does not collect personal data. See plausible.io/data-policy.
- Fonts are self-hosted. No requests are sent to Google Fonts or other third-party font CDNs from this site.
- Server logs. The hosting provider may keep short-lived access logs (IP address, time, request) for operational reasons. These are not used for tracking and are deleted after a short retention window.
When you write to us
Contact addresses on this site are mailto: links. When
you write to hello@citree.org,
your message and email address arrive in our inbox. We use this only
to reply to you and discuss your inquiry. We do not add you to any
list. You can ask us to delete your message at any time.
Voice messages
The voice-message option uses your browser's microphone and records only after you press "Record". The recording is created and held locally in your browser session. We do not upload, store, or transmit it anywhere on our infrastructure.
When you press "Send by email", your browser downloads the file to your device and opens your email client with a prefilled subject. You then attach the file yourself and choose to send it. We only ever receive the recording as an email attachment if you complete that send step. Once it arrives in our inbox it is treated as any other message - read by one of us, used only to reply, deletable on request.
Your rights (GDPR)
If we hold any data about you, you have the right to ask what we have, to ask us to correct it or delete it, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Write to hello@citree.org.
About the product
The Citree product (the citizen companion and advisor portal) is separate from this marketing site. Its own privacy notice will be published before citizens use the product with real data.
The full data-controller details (legal entity, address, DPO) will be filled in once the operating entity for citree.org is confirmed. Current contact: hello@citree.org.
